“Perfect choice”

Hotel Panorama by Rhombus was the perfect choice for our holiday visit in Hong Kong. Our room was comfortable and clean and well maintained by the maid service. The front desk staff was helpful in providing comments about sites of interest and with directions to get to them. The hotel was a short walk to the waterfront promenade and to the TST MTR station. The neighborhood was safe and there were many restaurant choices nearby. When we next return to Hong Kong, Hotel Panorama will be the place we stay.

“'Fantastic Hotel'”

Would high recommend this hotel. Fantastic location, convenient to the MTR, shopping and bars and nightlife. Paid a little extra for the club executive lounge and well worth it. Staff were very helpful, and friendly and the rooms with the harbour view was exceptional. Do yourself a favour and check this one out.

“My favourite hotel in HK”

In a great location to get a real perspective on busy Hong Kong. I always stay here for both work and pleasure. The rooms are fantastic as are the ever helpful staff. You can walk anywhere in Tsim Tsa Tsui or easily get a train to central etc. The local bars are fun and not full of expats like Lan Kwai Fong. Highly recommended.

Room Tip: Try and get a room with a view of the harbour if you can spare the extra cash...

“Excellent Location”

Excellent location and view of the harbour / Hong Kong Island. A bit of a challange ot find it in Hart Street first time round. But afterwards very easy close to some great pubs and Nathan Road. Close in walking distance to trains and tourist places. Very friendly staff and very accomodating in your request. Try it and if they can help , they will . Rooms very clean and modern. Rooms curtains very dark when closed to ensure a good nights rest. Bed very comfortable . if you upsell to the Rhombus Club Executive Lounge with Club Privileges it is very well worth it. Not only the views but the area to rewind after a day out or before going out in the evening. Snacks and drinks all day and constintly replenished. Desk to assist you with any info required. Breakfast on the 39th floor , very good. For any traveller must go to the 40th for an outside view. Great plus is the keys only allow you to enter a floor if permitted. Prevents anyone comming in or entering the floor. Deff stay here again.

“Great location.”

We booked Panorama due to positive tripadvisor ratings and were not dissapointed. Initially at check in there were a few problems (we had booked a double room but only singles were available- this was no fault of Panorama but rather our agent) but after some discussion we were upgraded to an executive level room with the kind assistance of Elly at reception. The room and bathroom were very clean- and views from the executive levels were very impressive. Fantastic location amongst good bars, restaurants and main shopping areas of TST , less than 2 minutes walk to the East TST station subway entrance and 5 minutes from main shopping areas on Nathan Rd. Concierge are happy to help with anything you need . We highly recommend staying at Panorama for its location.

“Awesome view , even from the bath!!”

2nd time staying here at hotel panorama. Good friendly service from the concierges on the ground floor to cleaning staff on 27th floor. Quick check in and out,Super comfortable beds, clean and well stocked bathrooms, club lounge has free drinks and nibbles, buffet breakfast was ok, very fast and efficient laundry service. Very close to all public transport! Great selection of restaurants at front door. No negatives about this place.
Will always stay here when in Hong Kong..

Room Tip: Get a corner room with harbour views from the bath.

“The best harbour view”

I was upgraded to the 31st floor from the 27th floor and the room was clean and spotless, the view was spectacular, location was good, minutes walk to the café and MTR station, love Hong Kong public train system so easy to follow. I don't find the breakfast buffet menu was that great but overall it is a great hotel to stay in. I would definitely come back to stay at this hotel.

“Great location, great views, great staff”

Agree with all the good stuff written by other reviewers. Some practical tips to get most out of your stay. If you're new to the hotel and coming from the airport, take the Airport Express and stop at Kowloon station. There are free Airport Express shuttle buses to major hotels (note "major hotels"). Unfortunately, the shuttle does not stop at Panorama, but at the Holiday Inn (nearest hotel). Where's the Holiday Inn? Good question. So, you wouldn't want to be dragging your luggage, and laptop bag and back pack around Tsim Sha Tsui hunting for your hotel. Just take a taxi from Kowloon station. Ride should cost abround KH$50, depending on number of bags you have. By the way, the Airport Express ticket is HK$100 per person or HK$140 for 2. Nice.

Breakfast at the AVA restaurant (part of the Rhombus Club) is OK. I'm a congee man and I just love their congee (and its accompanying condiments). Go early (before 9 am) and take the harbour view seating to your right as you enter the restaurant. That's the less crowded area and your chair will not be bumped by people walking around for their food.

Happy hour at the Rhombus Club is from 5.30 pm - 8.30 pm. Go early, yes, at 5.25 pm. Otherwise, the good stuff like the curry puffs and the prawn rolls will disappear very fast : )

Finally, stay in your hotel room at least one night for the 8 pm "Symphony of Lights" show where the skyline of Hong Kong island is lighted up with lights lasers and other lights. Switch off all the lights in your room, sip your favorite alcholic or non-alcoholic beverage, munch at the mini bar freebies and watch the show in the comfort of your room. I feel that the light show is a bit "thin" - could do with more laser effects and a big bang. Then again, there's always Macau which is a 50 min boat ride away.

Finally, try the superb shrimp wanton noodles at any of the small restaurants for authentic Hong Kong cuisine. Cheap and good.
